Beautiful poem, Heather.
Peace to you, dear cousin.
I found you from Dona Nobis Pacem. I love your site. I’m going to poke around a little bit, but don’t worry I’ll put everything back where I found it!!
We need not look far into the past to mourn those lost because we still have not reached a world culture of Peace. I too wear my poppy with sombre gratitude for the sacrifices too many have made.
Peace be with you... always.
A beautiful thought, to remember the fallen on your peace globe. Well done.
Excellent. Peace to you and yours.
The line They shall grow not old, as we shall grow old made me so sad...just the thought of all those young lives no more...
I like the idea of the poppy on the Peaceglobe.
Wishing you and yours peace, harmony and happiness x

I wish you peace and love,

What a beautiful Peace globe design.
Best Peace day blessings to you!
My grandfather died on 11 Nov 1999. We all felt he'd picked the day to leave deliberately. I remember stopping to buy a poppy pin on my way to the hospital. So the poppy and the day have double meaning for me. After the funeral we took all the flowers to the war memorial and left them amongst the poppy wreaths. It was a good day, in a strange way.
