one year ago today - I asked "What's Next Shelby Lynne?"

It was a year ago today that I started my blog " What's Next Shelby Lynne?"

I had taken a little, well a rather long break from blogging for quite some time. I had occasionally taken the wordzzle challenge words and scratched some things down but never actually posted them. I have since moved to Beaver Pond with Darcy, he found Turtle pond a little crowded. I questioned whether or not I should spend my time sitting at the computer to participate in the Wordzzle Challenge.

Tonight I sit here with an Aww feeling because of the date which I randomly sat down to post on "What's Next Shelby Lynne?" Which is normally just a Saturday thing. I posted the very first post on  20.7.09

and Tonight  , 20.7.10
is exactly A year ago.  I thought that was kind of neat.
I posted what I had written in a notebook for the wordzzle challenge a couple weeks ago on a trip up to Cape Breton where I snapped the "Lobster uppers" picture for todays wordless wednesday # 22.

Looking at the above dates I feel good about taking the time to ask "What's next Shelby Lynne?"

THE BLOG "What's Next Shelby Lynne?" IS a work of fiction. Any likeness in characters or events is completely coincidental. I am Making it up as I go along Using the Saturday Wordzzle Challenge as prompts. The name Shelby Lynne Birmingham was generated using the Hillbilly name generator.

It's just finding time for everything, Heather - the great challenge of creative people everywhere.

Yes Julia is right, finding the time for everything - While I get the importants of mother/wife duty you also have to find you time if not on the computer something just for you. If you do not find time for you once in a while you will start to feel resentful. When my daughters were younger my me time was going out to dinner once a month with my best friend - now that my girls are older I have more time for computer time. Of course when they were little computers weren't there big yet; at least at our house! LOL
